Busy times in 2016, filming, gig photography and more!

Good grief I’ve been busy over in 2016, with not only the filming of some awesome stuff but also doing gig photography and other stuff!

Many of you will know about the shorts, First Love and Evicted and the music video for Dene Michael that I’ve worked on with Canned Media, but I also got to work on a new music video for the band Straight Jacket Legends, which feature ex-Coronation Street star, Bruce Jones.

Suffice to say it was an amazing video shoot, with a day spent on location with not only the band but also lots of extras including a managery of animals!!

I’ve worked with Straight Jacket Legends on several occasions and they are real professionals when it comes to working with them, so being able to do a video shoot with them was an amazing opportunity that I really didn’t want to miss out on.

2016 A Busy Year Doing …

So as I mentioned above, a lot of 2016 involved being on set doing various jobs from Production Assistant to Assistant Director, with so many more projects in the pipeline for 2017, it looks like it’s going to be another busy year on set and the chance to work even more great names in the entertainment industry.

Adding to the madness of movie and short filmmaking, I also spent a lot of time my Award Winning Blog, Blazing Minds, working hard at several events such as a SciFi Weekender where I got to work with Brian Blessed and the chance to work with the chance to work with Alfa Romeo and review their Giulietta over at the Wales Comic Con, lots of theatre reviews as well, 2016 also allowed me to advance the website with some extra writers and be able to work closely with some of the big distribution companies for exclusive merchandise giveaways and more.

As film is part of my life 2016 also opened up more for reviews and the chance to review more movies thanks to the Scala Cinema in Prestatyn and Cineworld, which is how I get to see some awesome IMAX 3D movies and get the chance to work alongside RealD UK.

My photography has also had a boost is 2016, not only have I been able to do much more of it through the year, but I got to photograph Brian Blessed (which Brian shared on his Facebook Page), UB40, Jason Donovan, Rhydian (one of my photos has been used in a calendar for Rhydian’s chosen charity) and the chance to do some exclusive photography for comedy legend, Jimmy Cricket.

Lovely photo. Thank you

2017 More fun and Frolicks

2017 is going to be an amazing year and from what I have in my diary for the fist few months, it’s going to be a heck of a busy one as well, but hey I live for the excitement. So please keep an eye on this website and on Blazing Minds for more updates and reviews etc.

Massive thanks to everyone that has supported myself and all the projects that I’ve been involved in during 2016. So, until the next update, laters folks.
